Hello Ladies of TCAC
Below is request for help from Michelle Drenckhahn, our TCAC officer & sister, who recently took over as the AAB Reruiter of the West/Midwest Region, if you have a moment please stop to consider helping her and our surround collegiate chapters by donating a little of your time to becoming a Alumane Advisory Board member. Some positions can be handled via emails and phones calls, you don't have to be near the chapter to give them your help.
Tina
Dear Alumnae Sisters
Tri Sigma needs your help. Your collegiate chapter needs your help! Collegiate Chapters in your area are currently in need of advisors. Can you offer support and time to your chapter? We are looking for alumnae that would be interested in joining the Alumnae Advisory Board (AAB). If YOU are interested in being part of the future of our Legacy, we are asking for your commitment.
A little back ground on an Alumnae Advisory Board:
Previously, the Alumnae Advisory Board was made up of 3 positions: Chapter Advisor, Financial Advisor and Membership/Education Advisor. We know our alumnae want to give back to the sorority, but with family, work, and other volunteer commitments their time is limited. With the new Alumnae Advisory Board structure we are lessening the time commitment of each individual position by dividing up the AAB responsibilities into 10 positions. We are also allowing recent graduates to get involved with the Alumnae Advisory Board instead of waiting 3-5 years after graduation.
The new advisor positions are as follows: (Availability varies Chapter to Chapter)
Chapter Advisor Financial Advisor Membership/Recruitment Advisor Scholarship Advisor Honor Council Advisor Accreditation & Awards Advisor Alumnae Relations Advisor
Essential Sigma Advisor Ritual Advisor Housing Corporation Liaison (if applicable)
Chapters in your area in need are as follows:
· Alpha Xi (UW – Whitewater)
· Beta Pi (UW – Stout)
· Gamma Lambda (UW – Eau Claire)
· Gamma Phi (UW – River Falls )
· Epsilon Pho (MN State University – Mankato )
· Epsilon Kappa (UW – Oshkosh )
· Eta Theta (Gustavus)
· Zeta Eta ( Winona State University )
It is our goal to have the alumnae advisory volunteers fully working with the chapter by May 2009. If you are a Sigma sister in the area or know of Sigma’s in the area, we ask that you contact us with names and recommendations. Your positive guidance will be essential to the chapter’s success. Thank you for your time and help! I look forward to hearing from you!
In our bonds,
Michelle Drenckhahn, Beta PI
AAB RECRUITER – West/Midwest Region
